The Heart Behind the Board

Hi, I’m Marian—mom, Lexington KY native, creative spirit, and founder and creative director of Rose & Brie.

This business was born out of a love for bringing people together. As a busy mom, I know how overwhelming hosting can feel—but I also know how powerful a beautifully set table can be. There’s nothing better than seeing the people you love gathered together, smiling, and sharing something special. It invites conversation, creates memories, and turns everyday moments into something worth savoring.

Rose & Brie exists to help you connect with the people you love, take the stress out of hosting, and share something beautiful and delicious. Whether you're planning a party, celebrating a milestone, or just craving a little luxury in your week, I’m here to make it effortless—and a little magical.

Because gathering should feel good. And feeding people should be joyful, not stressful.

I still remember getting ready on my wedding day — the hair spray, the laughter, the nerves… and realizing halfway through, “Oh wow, all I have eaten is an Alani (which doesn't count).” Having something light to snack on was such a gift. I didn’t want anything heavy, nothing messy, and definitely nothing that would smudge lipstick or end up on my dress. Just little bites I could grab between curling iron passes and happy tears. That feeling stuck with me. Now, when I create brunch boards for brides and wedding parties, I think about those moments — the excitement, the butterflies, the need for something beautiful, simple, and easy to enjoy while you’re getting ready for one of the biggest days of your life. And something that pairs nicely with mimosas (because priorities…) Beautiful cheeses. Fresh fruit. Light pastries. A few savory bites, a hint of sweetness, and everything cut, portioned, and ready so nobody has to stop and “make” anything.
